It doesn’t surprise me. We have great players in this locker room and it’s a fun team. We say it every year, but this one is different.<\/p>Brandon Woodruff<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nThe Brewers have won 60 of their first 100 games, with a team that has undergone significant changes from the one that won the National League Central Division last year.\n\n

This season, the balanced and collective effort has propelled the Brewers to numerous victories, including six against the Los Angeles Dodgers during their current streak.\n\nBrice Turang leads the team’s position players with three Wins Above Replacement. 21-year-old outfielder Jackson Chourio continues to shine after an outstanding rookie season. Freddy Peralta leads Major League pitchers with 12 wins.\n\nJoey Ortiz highlights the positive atmosphere in the locker room.\n\n

Winning is great, winning is fun. It’s a blessing to come to a Major League field and play. Winning is an extra. We are all very close in the locker room; I think we have a lot of fun being together, and I think that shows on the field.<\/p>Joey Ortiz<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nThe team, led by National League Manager of the Year Pat Murphy, is gaining confidence with each win, but there’s still a lot left to play in the regular season. The trade deadline hasn’t arrived yet, so the Brewers, a small-market team, have time to keep working.\n\n
