Due to the impact of a tropical wave affecting the country, the agency has issued alerts in eight provinces, warning of the risk of urban flooding, as well as the overflowing of streams and creeks.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to the official bulletin, intense downpours accompanied by thunderstorms and wind gusts are expected. The moisture transported by the atmospheric phenomenon, which is moving over Haitian territory, will directly impact the southwest, the border area, the Caribbean coastal littoral, and the eastern plains.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Provinces under yellow alert<\/h3>\n\n<p>The yellow alert level has been established for areas with the highest imminent risk, urging citizens to remain on high alert.
