We will maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding acts of corruption within the entity.<\/p><cite>Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester, Director General of Migration<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal and administrative consequences<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mogena Gonz\u00e1lez faces charges for potential violations of the Penal Code and the General Migration Law 285-04, including crimes of criminal association and document forgery. The case is being handled jointly by the DGM Legal Directorate and the Specialized Prosecutor&#8217;s Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (PEPCA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the administrative sphere, the General Directorate of Migration has initiated the process for the immediate suspension and subsequent definitive dismissal of the official.
