The tragic episode occurred last Tuesday, just eight hours after a court issued an unfavorable ruling for her in a custody battle for the minor.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to the report by Lieutenant Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department, the plan stipulated that Savella would hand over the little girl to her ex-husband, Aaron Savella, during the night of that same Tuesday. Unfortunately, before the meeting could take place, the mother shot the child, who died from her injuries. Subsequently, the woman attempted suicide and was rushed to a hospital, where she lost her life the following day.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal conflict details<\/h2>\n\n<p>The couple, who were married for four years, finalized their divorce in November 2024. Since then, they were involved in an intense legal battle for the custody of their only daughter.
