In addition to the eight sent to prison, the magistrate imposed house arrest on nine other defendants, including Heidy Coronado Paulino, Lucreisy Polanco N\u00fa\u00f1ez, and Einstein Rafael Borreo Valdez, while for the rest of the defendants, financial guarantees, periodic reporting, and travel bans were ordered.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">I urge doctors not to lend their code. The authorities have reaffirmed that the investigations remain open to determine the full extent of these irregularities.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office bases its accusation on violations of the Constitution regarding the prohibition of corruption, criminal association, and money laundering.
