These operations are part of the strategic actions executed by the agency to strengthen border control and ensure compliance with current regulations in the country.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Distribution of arrests by province<\/h3>\n\n<p>According to the official report, 53.23% of those detained, equivalent to 789 people, were located in key points such as Dajab\u00f3n, Santo Domingo, Santiago, Valverde, and various locations in the Eastern region. The province of Dajab\u00f3n recorded the highest figure with 210 apprehensions, followed by Santo Domingo with 163, Santiago with 145, and Valverde with 125 cases.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the East region, the results were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>La Altagracia: 70 detainees<\/li><li>San Pedro de Macor\u00eds: 38 detainees<\/li><li>La Romana: 14 detainees<\/li><li>Hato Mayor: 14 detainees<\/li><li>El Seibo: 10 detainees<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>The deployment reached other strategic areas, including El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a with 188 arrests, Independencia with 137, Pedernales with 81, Barahona with 46, La Vega with 44, as well as Puerto Plata and San Juan with 36 cases each.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Institutional collaboration in the operations<\/h3>\n\n<p>The success of this operation was possible thanks to inter-institutional coordination. The General Directorate of Migration led the actions with 749 direct detentions. For its part, the Dominican Republic Army contributed with 357 people, the National Police with 203, and the Specialized Land Border Security Corps (Cesfront) with 173 individuals intercepted in the border zone.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>These actions are part of the migration control operations carried out by the DGM in different parts of the national territory to detect foreigners in an irregular migratory status.<\/p><cite>General Directorate of Migration<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deportation process<\/h3>\n\n<p>As a direct result of these interventions, 484 foreigners were deported to Haiti through the four official border crossings.
