The blue team began their official training at the Baseball City facilities, located in Boca Chica, with the presence of key figures who will seek to lead the team to the top of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first day featured the integration of experienced players and emerging talents, highlighting the presence of Ram\u00f3n Hern\u00e1ndez, Andretty Cordero, and star pitcher C\u00e9sar Valdez. These athletes arrive with the goal of strengthening the team’s structure from the first day of preseason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ram\u00f3n Hern\u00e1ndez joins the camp following an outstanding performance in the Mexican Baseball League with the Acereros de Monclova, where he led the Dominicans in that circuit with an impressive .351 batting average. Meanwhile, Andretty Cordero arrives after a solid season where he combined power and contact, accumulating nine home runs and 51 runs batted in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the pitching corps, C\u00e9sar Valdez’s veteran presence brings security to the staff. The right-hander, who saw action with the Leones de Yucat\u00e1n and the Dorados de Chihuahua during the summer, demonstrated his usual control by recording 57 strikeouts and issuing just 10 walks in a little over 72 innings of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The welcome to the group was led by Audo Vicente, vice president of operations and general manager of the organization, who emphasized the need to maintain discipline and a competitive focus from the start. The training sessions are being coordinated by Carlos Lugo, who leads an experienced coaching staff composed of figures such as Jos\u00e9 Umbr\u00eda, Fidel Pe\u00f1a, Alexis Candelario, Manny Aybar, Silvestre Campusano, C\u00e9sar Cabral, and Vladimir P\u00e9rez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
