Argentina promotes technological trade mission in the Dominican Republic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the goal of strengthening commercial ties and fostering strategic alliances, the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Santo Domingo has launched an important trade mission. This event focuses on innovation and value-added services, connecting 17 leading Argentine companies in the technology, software, marketing, and communication sectors with the Dominican market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, held this Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Catalonia Santo Domingo Hotel, began with the seminar titled “Business opportunities in the knowledge economy: software, advertising, and marketing. Argentina \u2013 Dominican Republic.” The opening ceremony was led by the Argentine Ambassador, Mar\u00eda Sandra Winkler, and the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), Daniel Pe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A growing ecosystem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During her speech, Ambassador Winkler highlighted the potential of Argentine talent and its capacity to collaborate with the Dominican productive sector. \u201cArgentina has the talent, experience, and technological development to generate synergies with the Dominican Republic and grow together. The knowledge economy is not a promise, it is a concrete reality that increases competitiveness,\u201d the diplomat stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The day’s agenda included expert panels where representatives of Argentine chambers, such as CESSI, presented the capabilities of their country’s digital ecosystem. On behalf of the Dominican delegation, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs and ProDominicana presented the competitive advantages that the Caribbean country offers for foreign investment and the development of new technological projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
