The judicial process seeks to clarify an embezzlement that, according to preliminary investigations, exceeds 40 million pesos.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Case details<\/h3>\n\n<p>The Public Ministry, under the direction of the Specialized Prosecutor&#8217;s Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca), formally filed the motion last Saturday night. The file, which consists of 525 pages, details the accusations and evidence collected by a team of prosecutors led by Mirna Ortiz, Yudelka Holgu\u00edn, H\u00e9ctor Garc\u00eda, Rosa Alba Garc\u00eda, Emmanuel Ram\u00edrez, and Ernesto Guzm\u00e1n Alberto.<\/p>\n\n<p>Given the gravity of the events, the authorities have requested 18 months of pretrial detention for those involved, in addition to requiring that the case be declared a complex process due to the magnitude of the operating network and the number of people involved.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">List of those under investigation<\/h3>\n\n<p>The group of 25 people identified for their alleged involvement in this fraud scheme includes various health professionals and other collaborators.
