Sharpe was an emblematic player of the franchise, leaving an indelible mark on the team&#8217;s history.\n\nSharpe, selected three times for the Pro Bowl, played his 13 seasons in the NFL with the Cardinals, both in his time in St. Louis (1982-1987) and in Arizona (1988-1994).\n\nThe news of his death was shared by his widow, Tameka Williams-Sharpe, through social media on Saturday.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;With deep sadness and love, I share that my beloved husband, Luis Sharpe, has passed away. His strength, love, and faith were a light to all who knew him. I am grateful for every moment we shared and for the many prayers and kindnesses extended to our family. Although my heart is heavy, I trust that Luis now rests in God&#8217;s eternal peace.
