Pinales detailed that managing kitchens for the Extended School Day is a task of great magnitude. According to figures shared by the business leader, around 3,000 bidders usually participate in these processes, of which nearly 1,750 are awarded contracts. This high density of participants makes the contracting logistics a complex scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, the head of Codopyme defended the legality of newly created companies in these tenders. He assured that, as long as the companies are duly constituted under the current legal framework, they have the right to participate and compete, regardless of their track record or previous experience in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Supplier reserve:<\/strong> There is a group of approximately 400 authorized and organized companies that can take over the service in the event that any of the main suppliers fail.<\/li>\n
- Impact of MSMEs:<\/strong> Pinales highlighted that companies affiliated with Codopyme supply more than 90% of the products and services required by INABIE, including school breakfast and props items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Institutional interests and budget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Finally, the business representative pointed out that the high level of scrutiny on INABIE is proportional to the resources the entity manages.
