The School of Social Communication at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) has initiated a transformation process in its academic curriculum. The main objective is to align the training of its students with the current demands of the media ecosystem and new trends in digital information consumption, according to professor Manuel Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n\n
During the presentation of an international study on information habits, the academic highlighted that the rise of social media and digital platforms forces educational institutions to transcend traditional methods. The goal is to prepare future communicators for the challenges of the contemporary labor market, where immediacy and channel diversification are the norm.<\/p>\n\n
