Subsequently, they managed to move the affected individuals to apartments or hotels, where they administered sedative substances to leave them in a state of total helplessness.<\/p>\n\n<p>Once the victims lost consciousness, the members of the network proceeded to steal valuables, including:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cell phones and electronic devices such as computers.<\/li>\n<li>High-value watches and clothing.<\/li>\n<li>Cash.<\/li>\n<li>Bank cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The investigation was initiated following several complaints related to events that occurred between August 30 and September 6, 2026, in different sectors of the National District.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tracking and capture<\/h3>\n\n<p>Tracking the stolen bank cards was key for the authorities to identify those responsible, as suspicious purchases made shortly after the crimes were detected.
