This strategic measure covers eight provinces and three specific municipalities, with the primary objective of intensifying control operations and guaranteeing citizen security in the areas identified as priorities by the national government.<\/p>\n\n<p>The government provision includes the suspension of the inviolability of the home, granting security agencies expanded powers to carry out direct interventions and strengthen surveillance in the territories under the decree.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Territorial scope of the measure<\/h2>\n\n<p>The state of emergency covers the following provinces:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El Oro<\/li>\n<li>Esmeraldas<\/li>\n<li>Guayas<\/li>\n<li>Los R\u00edos<\/li>\n<li>Manab\u00ed<\/li>\n<li>Pichincha<\/li>\n<li>Santa Elena<\/li>\n<li>Santo Domingo de los Ts\u00e1chilas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the measure extends to the municipalities of Camilo Ponce Enr\u00edquez (Azuay), Las Naves (Bol\u00edvar), and La Man\u00e1 (Cotopaxi).<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Night curfew<\/h2>\n\n<p>As a complement to these actions, the Executive has determined the implementation of a nightly curfew.
