He argues that, while some entities have had their recognition withdrawn for failing to meet requirements, others remain active thanks to the accumulation of votes through alliances, a practice he considers contrary to the spirit of the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Visi\u00f3n Naci\u00f3n maintains that electoral representation must be obtained directly at each party’s ballot box, and not as a byproduct of strategic agreements. If this demand succeeds, the Dominican political system could face significant structural changes in the distribution of the budget allocated to party organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organizations under the microscope<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The controversy arises from Resolution 01-2026 of the Central Electoral Board (JCE), which allocates millions in funds to various groups. Among those mentioned in the lawsuit, which have percentages of less than 1% of the valid votes, are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2026 period, each of these organizations has been assigned a budget of approximately RD$3,927,272.73, a figure that, according to the plaintiffs, should be reviewed based on criteria of actual representativeness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visi\u00f3n Naci\u00f3n has maintained a critical stance regarding the functioning of the Dominican political system. In addition to this case, the organization has actively defended independent candidacies before the Constitutional Court and has advocated for a profound restructuring in the financing of the so-called “hinge parties.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
