The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction after being excluded from the recent procurement processes for the School Feeding Program, a situation regarding which the institution reiterated that it keeps channels of dialogue open to analyze each particular case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The INABIE management reported that, prior to the protests, it had already met with supplier representatives to evaluate possible alternatives. Among the proposals presented, the possibility of integrating suppliers who are on the waiting list stands out, provided that new needs for rations arise from the incorporation of educational centers into the school system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consultation process and institutional transparency<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To guarantee the legality of any administrative movement, INABIE has submitted a formal inquiry to the General Comptroller of the Republic. The institution is awaiting an official response from the regulatory body to determine the steps to follow regarding the requests of the affected suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the recent bidding process, INABIE defended its integrity, highlighting the following key points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participation of 2,644 bidders, with 1,729 of them being awarded.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of strict parameters to minimize discretion in the selection process.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive evaluation based on legal, technical, and financial criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Allocation of 80 points to the technical component and 20 additional points based on the geographical proximity between the kitchens and the educational centers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The institution emphasized that the distribution of the awards was executed through an automated digital system, which used the scores achieved by each participant as a basis, thus guaranteeing compliance with the established guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>With this position, INABIE seeks to respond to the concerns raised by suppliers who have reported economic losses.
