The main objective is to consolidate under a single State policy all the strategies necessary to safeguard natural resources and ensure the country&#8217;s water and ecological stability.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project emphasizes the urgency of executing concrete actions focused on the preservation of the nation&#8217;s most vulnerable natural assets. Among the fundamental pillars of this proposal are:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The strategic protection of rivers and watersheds.<\/li><li>The sustained promotion of nationwide reforestation programs.<\/li><li>The effective conservation of protected areas and the restoration of degraded ecosystems.<\/li><li>The optimization of the solid waste management system.<\/li><li>The strengthening of surveillance mechanisms to combat environmental crimes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>To ensure the success of this plan, the organization proposes the implementation of quantifiable national goals. Likewise, it seeks to establish a roadmap where responsibilities are shared and coordinated efficiently among government institutions, local governments, the private sector, and the active participation of the citizenry.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Protecting our rivers, forests, mountains, and coasts is protecting the life, production, and future of the Dominican Republic.
