According to official data provided by the Central Bank of Ecuador, this figure represents an increase of 9.3% compared to the same period of the previous year, consolidating a positive trend in the country&#8217;s trade balance.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The pillars of Ecuadorian exports<\/h3>\n\n<p>Shrimp continues to position itself as the main driver of external sales, reaching 5.765 billion dollars, which represents a solid growth of 17.6%. Closely following is the oil sector, with revenues of 5.724 billion dollars.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the other hand, the mining sector has stood out with an impressive rebound of 43.5%, totaling 3.179 billion dollars. Regarding traditional agricultural products, bananas and plantains maintain their relevance with 2.739 billion dollars, reflecting a 7.5% increase. In contrast, cocoa and its derivatives experienced a significant drop of 54.6%, standing at 1.195 billion dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">Ecuador&#8217;s trade surplus stood at 2.843 billion dollars, after recording a total of 20.445 billion in imports during the first seven months of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Performance analysis in July<\/h3>\n\n<p>The performance in July was particularly notable, with exports reaching 3.717 billion dollars. This represents a growth of 13.2% compared to June and a jump of 48.5% compared to the same month in 2025.
