The exchange of gunfire resulted in one fatality and one person in police custody.<\/li><li><strong>Second confrontation:<\/strong> The pursuit extended to the municipality of Palmar de Ocoa, where the suspects were traveling in a white Honda CR-V SUV. At this point, a second confrontation occurred, leaving two other individuals seriously wounded, who lost their lives while receiving medical assistance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational deployment and seized evidence<\/h3>\n\n<p>Following the escape of the fifth member of the group, authorities have reinforced the operation with the deployment of special SWAT units, supported by intelligence teams and aerial surveillance via a Dominican Republic Air Force helicopter.
