This series of international events seeks to consolidate the &#8216;Ciudad Coraz\u00f3n&#8217; as a key destination for sports tourism in the region.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High-level competition calendar<\/h3>\n\n<p>Sports programming is designed to attract elite athletes and enthusiasts from various disciplines. Featured events include:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>2026 Padel Interclubs:<\/strong> From September 11th to 13th, the STI Racket Club will host this tournament organized by the Dominican Padel Federation (RFDP).<\/li><li><strong>Davis Cup:<\/strong> On September 18th and 19th, the Centro Espa\u00f1ol de Santiago will host the matchup between the Dominican Republic and Egypt, organized by the Dominican Tennis Federation (Fedotenis).<\/li><li><strong>Pan American Padel Championship:<\/strong> The closing event of the schedule will be from September 24th to 26th at the STI Racket Club, a pinnacle event organized by the RFDP in conjunction with Padel America and the International Padel Federation (FIP).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Economic impact and international projection<\/h3>\n\n<p>The Pan American Championship stands out as the largest event, with the confirmation of delegations from eight countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Venezuela. The organization projects a significant influx of visitors, estimating the presence of about 300 athletes and their companions, in addition to a total flow of up to 1,000 people who will boost the local economy.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>This agenda positions Santiago as a luxury destination for sports tourism and demonstrates the capacity of sports to boost the hotel, gastronomy, transport, and commerce sectors.<\/p><cite>Yerik P\u00e9rez, president of ADOTURD<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<p>With these initiatives, ADOTURD reaffirms its commitment to fostering strategic alliances that strengthen the national sports calendar.
