Of this total figure, some US$ 41.7 million correspond specifically to the dynamic services sector, consolidating the relevance of the Dominican offering at a global level.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event, which has established itself as a strategic meeting point for regional trade, brought together 155 international buyers from 26 different markets. During the sessions, 1,500 business meetings were held, where demand focused on 799 varied products, highlighting the participation of 285 exporting companies from 27 provinces of the country.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diversity in the exportable supply<\/h3>\n\n<p>The variety of products that sparked interest among international buyers reflects the maturity of the local industry. Among the most requested items are:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Metals and manufactures.<\/li><li>Agricultural and fresh products.<\/li><li>Industrial manufacturing and construction materials.<\/li><li>Food, beverages, and processed products.<\/li><li>Pharmaceutical sector and medical devices.<\/li><li>Specialized services.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>The presence of buyers from traditional markets such as the United States, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica was complemented by the interest of new strategic destinations, including Japan, Italy, India, Mozambique, and various Caribbean territories, which underscores the expansion of Dominican commercial reach.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We are proud to see how these rounds continue to grow and, above all, how they become concrete opportunities for our companies. Exceeding this amount in business intentions demonstrates that there is a real demand for Dominican products and that we are succeeding in connecting that demand with an increasingly prepared supply.<\/p><cite>Vladimir Pimentel F., Executive Director of ProDominicana<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A boost to business growth<\/h3>\n\n<p>Daniel Pe\u00f1a, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), highlighted the importance of public-private synergy in achieving these results, noting that when the right conditions are created, Dominican companies demonstrate their full capacity to compete in any international market.<\/p>\n\n<p>For her part, Lucile Houellemont, president of the Santo Domingo Chamber, emphasized that the massive participation of foreign delegations validates the diversification of national productive sectors, positioning the HUB as a fundamental business epicenter for the region.<\/p>\n\n<p>The inauguration of the event was attended by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader Corona, and featured Paula Bellizia, Vice President for Latin America at Amazon Web Services (AWS), as the keynote speaker.
