Tigers Tie for Number of All-Stars and Dominate MLB<\/h2>\n\nThe Detroit Tigers, with the best record in the league, also match the Dodgers in the number of players selected for the All-Star Game.\n\nZach McKinstry has been chosen to replace the Astros’ Jeremy Pe\u00f1a, who is recovering from a rib injury. McKinstry joins Gleyber Torres, Javier B\u00e1ez, and Riley Greene, in addition to staff ace Tarik Skubal, as representatives of the Tigers in the All-Star Game.\n\nThe Dodgers will also have five All-Stars, including Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith, Freddie Freeman, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Clayton Kershaw.\n\nThe Cincinnati Reds pitcher, Andrew Abbott, will replace Yamamoto, who will not be able to play due to his schedule.\n\nIsaac Paredes, from the Astros, will take Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00edrez’s place on the American League team, while Joe Ryan will replace Hunter Brown as a pitcher.
