The Basketball Association of the National District (Abadina) kicked off the prelude to the Superior Basketball Tournament (TBS Distrito 2026), a historic edition that celebrates its Golden Anniversary, commemorating 50 years of tradition and passion on the court.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event, which is shaping up to be one of the most competitive of the last decade, will have its official tip-off next Tuesday, October 15th, at 7:30 p.m. The BanReservas Arena, popularly known as the Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace, will once again be the epicenter of this sporting celebration.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A meeting with the protagonists<\/h2>\n\n<p>To warm up the engines, a special meeting was held with the delegates of the eight participating franchises. The activity, hosted by Jos\u00e9 Manuel Rodr\u00edguez and Jonathan Betances, served as a stage for the club representatives to share details about the formation of their rosters and their aspirations for the championship title.<\/p>\n\n<p>The delegates present who will represent their respective teams are:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pedro Lara (Bameso)<\/li><li>Nathanael Mercedes (El Mill\u00f3n)<\/li><li>H\u00e9ctor Junior Gil (Los Prados)<\/li><li>Milton D\u00edaz (San L\u00e1zaro)<\/li><li>Claudio M\u00e9ndez (Huellas del Siglo)<\/li><li>Miguel Merejo (Rafael Barias)<\/li><li>Agust\u00edn Espinoza (San Carlos)<\/li><li>Jos\u00e9 -Boy\u00f3n- Dom\u00ednguez (Mauricio B\u00e1ez)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Representatives from each club offered first-hand information about the arduous preparation process of their squads, making it clear that the main goal is to achieve glory in this anniversary tournament.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High-level organization<\/h2>\n\n<p>The event&#8217;s organizing committee, led by the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Andr\u00e9s Bautista, has the strategic support of Edwin Castillo (Tatico), president of Abadina, and Professor Nelson Ram\u00edrez, in his role as Commissioner.
