According to prosecutor Elizabeth Paredes, the network specialized in the illicit acquisition of benefits through the fraudulent awarding of contracts in agencies such as the Ministry of Public Works and the Office of State Works Supervisory Engineers (OISOE).<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The case file maintains that the network used a complex web of front men and shell companies to divert public funds into private accounts, bypassing state oversight controls.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Companies and modus operandi<\/h2>\n\n<p>The investigation highlights the role of companies such as Domedical Supply SRL and General Supply SRL, which allegedly received millionaire payments through operations that, according to the prosecuting body, lacked transparency and legality.
