The spokesperson for the law enforcement institution, Diego Pesqueira, confirmed that the heavy vehicle involved in the collision is already in police custody, after it was abandoned by the driver following the incident. The accident took place last Friday afternoon while the minor was heading to his school on a scooter, which was being driven by his stepfather, Wilkin Medina Bernardo.
