She had a successful title defense before falling to Miyo Yoshida in 2023.\n\nThe boxer has been inactive after giving birth to her first child in February, but she has expressed her desire to return to the ring before the end of 2025.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>&#8220;Ebanie Bridges is a star in every sense of the word,&#8221; declared Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions.<\/p>\n\n<cite>MVP<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nBefore turning professional in 2019, Bridges had a distinguished amateur career, winning the national Golden Gloves in 2016 and 2017. She was a high school teacher in New South Wales, Australia, before dedicating herself full-time to her boxing dreams in the UK.
