Hosted by Miralba Ruiz, this space arrives with the firm intention of moving away from media noise to focus on analysis, reflection, and social contribution from a diverse perspective.

The team is made up of Juan Carlos Alvelo, José Martínez Brito, Lyn Glass, and Carlos Báez, who join Ruiz to offer a balanced proposal from Monday to Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., through Top Latina 101.7/97.5 FM.

Voices with purpose and deep analysis

For Juan Carlos Alvelo, the great challenge lies in reporting without falling into the temptation of easy controversy. The communicator emphasized his rejection of the current trend of monetizing negativity on digital platforms.

If I manage to communicate the story, then I am fulfilling my mission. If I manage to say what a fact contributes or not to the society in which we live, I have fulfilled my mission. The industry of the incorrect, when we are talking about the bad, about the negative yielding that money, that like, that I do not want to earn.

Juan Carlos Alvelo

Diversity of approaches at the discussion table

The panel stands out for the variety of its profiles, allowing news to be approached from different angles:

José Martínez Brito: He will provide his legal perspective and critical analysis of current events, while also celebrating his professional reunion with Miralba Ruiz.

Lyn Glass: She will focus her participation on psychology, mental health, and parenting, offering a human perspective on daily events.

Carlos Báez: He will integrate his role as a psychology student with humor, seeking to explain not only what is happening, but the reasons behind each social phenomenon.

Lyn Glass highlighted that the combination of these personalities is the hallmark of the program. According to her, the blend of the veterans’ experience and the dynamic vision of the younger members will allow the audience to receive content that is light, yet full of depth and reflection.

For his part, Carlos Báez takes on this project with enthusiasm, recognizing the responsibility that comes with sharing microphones with long-standing figures in the Dominican media. With this cast, “Medio a Medio” positions itself as a necessary alternative for those looking for a radio program that invites reflection and high-level debate.

Medio a Medio: The new radio venture that prioritizes valuable content Dominican radio is renewing itself with the premiere of “Medio a Medio,” a program that seeks to transform the conversation at midday.
