The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, made official this Monday the appointment of V\u00edctor Livio Emmanuel Cede\u00f1o Brea as the new head of the Superintendency of Banks of the Dominican Republic. With this provision, Cede\u00f1o Brea assumes the responsibility of leading the body in charge of the supervision and regulation of all financial intermediation entities operating in Dominican territory. The official arrives to replace Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez Whipple in the position, who held these functions after having been ratified through Decree 442-24 in August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n
