This study seeks to identify current gaps and growth opportunities for businesses that integrate economic profitability with a purpose of social well-being.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project, which will span one year, includes an exhaustive analysis of the local context through surveys, interviews, and workshops with various stakeholders in the sector. The final objective is to generate well-founded recommendations that serve as a roadmap for the sustainability and scalability of these ventures.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Integration of key sectors and gender equity<\/h2>\n\n<p>The research is committed to a multidisciplinary vision, involving representatives from the public and private sectors, academia, and civil society. Active participation is expected from funding institutions, incubators, accelerators, and innovation centers. A fundamental pillar of this effort will be gender equity, focusing on overcoming the barriers women face when undertaking ventures and on empowering female talent in the impact sphere.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Policy Hackathons: Regional dialogue and co-creation<\/h2>\n\n<p>To ensure territorial representation, the project includes three meetings called &#8220;Policy Hackathons,&#8221; which will be held in the North, South, and Greater Santo Domingo\/East regions. These events will not function as competitions, but as collaborative workspaces to:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Validate preliminary research findings.<\/li>\n<li>Identify specific challenges for each region.<\/li>\n<li>Develop concrete proposals that will be systematized into a strategic recommendations document.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A regional vision for global impact<\/h2>\n\n<p>This initiative is not exclusive to the Dominican Republic, as it is part of a regional effort that is also being deployed in Argentina, Mexico, and Chile.
