In order to address the situation, the institution has called for a meeting at its headquarters in Santo Domingo. Representatives from the affected educational centers and key stakeholders in the supply chain will participate in this meeting to define immediate corrective actions.<\/p>\n\n

- Compliance with the quantities and portions stipulated in the contracts.<\/li>
- Verification of storage conditions in educational centers, especially for products that require a cold chain.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n
Su\u00e1rez Jim\u00e9nez warned that supplier companies that do not meet the required standards face severe sanctions, which could lead to their permanent exclusion from the School Feeding Program. As a precedent, the entity recalled that in the previous school cycle several suppliers were removed after irregularities were detected, a process that is carried out in coordination with district directors and specialists in nutrition and quality.<\/p>\n\n
