The goal is to formalize the registration of their rosters before the historic season begins.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nelson Ram\u00edrez, the tournament commissioner, established that the deadline for registering the first 10 players of each team will be Monday, September 7th. The process must be completed before 5:00 PM at the Commissioner&#8217;s offices, thus complying with the stipulations of the Technical Competition Regulations, which require registration nine days before the tip-off.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Golden Anniversary edition<\/h2>\n\n<p>The 2026 TBS District promises to be a memorable celebration as it marks half a century of history for basketball in the capital. The tournament is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 15th, at 8:00 PM at the iconic Arena BanReservas Profesor Virgilio Travieso Soto.<\/p>\n\n<p>The inaugural match will feature a high-level showdown between the current monarch, the Mauricio B\u00e1ez club, and the traditional San Carlos team. Along with them, the competition will feature the participation of:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Los Prados<\/li>\n<li>San L\u00e1zaro<\/li>\n<li>El Mill\u00f3n<\/li>\n<li>Rafael Barias<\/li>\n<li>Huellas del Siglo<\/li>\n<li>Bameso<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The success of this special edition, which marks our Golden Anniversary, depends on the rigor of the organizational processes and compliance with the regulations by each participating institution.<\/p><cite>TBS District 2026 Organization<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clear rules for eligibility<\/h2>\n\n<p>Ram\u00edrez was emphatic in reminding management that they must strictly comply with the eligibility requirements for new players, reinforcements, and those Dominican athletes who have recently participated in foreign leagues.<\/p>\n\n<p>A critical point highlighted by the Commissioner is the mandatory requirement to present the International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
