The educator, who was intercepted while on his way to work, sustained a superficial wound to one of his knees during the attack.<\/p>\n\n
Yesenia Concepci\u00f3n Soto, director of the center, confirmed that Batista is in stable condition and resting as necessary. In addition, the teacher has received the relevant authorizations to manage the recovery of his personal documents and bank cards, which were stolen by the antisocials during the incident.<\/p>\n\n
Given the seriousness of the events, the authorities of the National Police, Educational Security, and the School Police conducted an assessment at the school. During this meeting, a commitment was made to intensify patrols during critical arrival and departure times, with the goal of protecting the integrity of students as well as teaching and administrative staff.<\/p>\n\n

The principal recalled previous incidents, such as the one that occurred at the end of the school year, when an individual on a motorcycle entered the premises under false pretenses to snatch a teacher’s cell phone.<\/p>\n\n
Prevention measures and pending requests<\/h2>\n\n
To address crime, the school has implemented its own security measures, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n
- Improvement of the lighting system in perimeter areas.<\/li>
- Installation of surveillance cameras for internal monitoring.<\/li>
- Formalization of constant complaints to security agencies.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n
Despite these efforts, the educational center insists on the urgent need to have a School Police officer assigned on a permanent basis and a night watchman for security.
