Free agent guard Ryan Rollins has agreed to return to the Milwaukee Bucks on a three-year, $12 million contract, which includes a player option in the third season, according to his agents Mike Silverman and Brandon Grier of Equity Basketball.<\/p>\n
Rollins, selected in the second round of the 2022 draft by the Golden State Warriors, joined the Bucks on a dual contract in February 2024. He spent most of the 2024-25 season under this scheme before receiving a standard contract in March. He opted for a contract for the remainder of the season instead of a multi-year deal with the Bucks, which made him an unrestricted free agent, and is now rewarded with a $12 million contract.<\/p>\n
At 23 years old, Rollins earned a spot in Doc Rivers’ rotation as an effective three-point shooter. He averaged 6.2 points per game with a 40.8% success rate from the three-point line in 56 games last year. In his 19 starts in place of injured point guard Damian Lillard, his numbers increased to 10.2 points with a 45.2% success rate from the three-point line.<\/p>\n
In his last 10 regular season games, with Lillard out, Rollins averaged 12.3 points and four assists while shooting 58% from three-point range.<\/p>\n
The Bucks have experienced significant changes this offseason, including the departure of Myles Turner and Lillard, while they brought in Myles Turner with a four-year contract.
