“Everything I’ve ever wanted to achieve. Aside from a championship, I think this is the best you can feel, in terms of achievement, pride, everything. This is where it all started for me, watching the race on television many years ago. However, Norris described his feelings as “pure happiness”.\n\nWhen asked if he shed tears after the victory, Norris replied:\n\n

“No tears! I tried, but no. I don’t know. When I get emotional, I don’t cry, I just smile. It’s pure happiness. It’s pure enjoyment of the moment you’re in. When asked about what he was thinking on the last laps, Norris said:<\/p>\n\n

“Your mind just goes blank. You forget everything you might think before the race. The main thing is always not to screw it up. That’s rule number one. But in the last laps, I was just looking at the crowd. I was just trying to take it all in, enjoy the moment because it might not happen again.
