Both Borges and doubles player Francisco Cabral wore it.<\/p><cite>Wimbledon Organization<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nFaced with the tragic loss of Diogo Jota and his brother Andr\u00e9, who died in a traffic accident, Wimbledon offered tennis players the possibility of wearing a black armband as a sign of mourning.\n\nBorges, after his defeat, shared his impressions of the situation:\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;I know Wimbledon isn&#8217;t usually very flexible with clothing, but they told me I could do something to honor Jota, so I think it was a good gesture.
