The Institute of Cooperative Development and Credit (IDECOOP) and the Executive Directorate of Irrigation Technification (TNR) have formalized an inter-institutional cooperation agreement. The main objective of this alliance is to facilitate access for agricultural producers to competitive financing, specialized technical support, and non-reimbursable co-financing funds.<\/p>\n\n
The agreement was signed by Maritza L\u00f3pez de Ortiz, administrative president of IDECOOP, and Claudio Caama\u00f1o V\u00e9lez, director of the TNR. With this initiative, both entities seek to strengthen rural cooperativism and promote the efficient use of water resources in the Dominican countryside.<\/p>\n\n

As established, the TNR will contribute its technical capacity and access to resources through the Fund for the Promotion of Irrigation System Modernization (Fotesir), while IDECOOP will act as the articulating channel with cooperatives nationwide.<\/p>\n\n

- Technical training aimed at increasing agricultural productivity.<\/li>
- Promotion of technologies that reduce environmental impact in field operations.<\/li>

Claudio Caama\u00f1o V\u00e9lez highlighted that this union is fundamental to link cooperative capital with modern infrastructure projects.
