At the Wimbledon tournament, Djokovic became the third player in history to reach 100 victories in this prestigious grass-court championship.

Djokovic achieved this feat after defeating his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic with a score of 6-3, 6-0 and 6-4, securing his place in the round of 16. With this victory, he joins Martina Navratilova and Roger Federer as the only tennis players to surpass 100 singles wins at the All England Club.

Wimbledon is the dream tournament, not only for me, but for most tennis players. As a child, I dreamed of playing and winning here. Whatever history I can make in my favorite tournament, I feel blessed.
Novak Djokovic

At 38 years old and participating in his twentieth Wimbledon, Djokovic will face Alex De Minaur, ranked number 11, in the next round, seeking a place in the quarterfinals.

This victory also marks the 68th time Djokovic has reached the fourth round in a Grand Slam, surpassed only by Federer, who achieved it 69 times. Furthermore, along with Federer, they are the only men to win more than 100 matches in two different Grand Slam tournaments since the Open Era began in 1968.

Navratilova, with nine individual titles at Wimbledon, accumulated 120 victories, while Federer, with eight titles, reached 105 victories.

It’s something very historic. It sounds very good.
Novak Djokovic

Djokovic demonstrated solid play, committing only eight unforced errors in the first two sets. Kecmanovic, his Davis Cup teammate, demanded a greater effort from him in the third set.

Djokovic finished the match with 60 winners, 19 unforced errors, and 16 aces. “It’s never easy to play against a friend and compatriot,” he commented.

A highlight of the match occurred in the eighth game of the first set, when Djokovic, seeking the break, achieved an impressive backhand volley that left Kecmanovic without a response.

Djokovic, aware of his longevity in the sport, expressed: “I try not to take anything for granted, especially at this age, to keep competing with the young players, to do some stunts on the court and push myself to the limit.”

Djokovic, who could face Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals, has lost the last two Wimbledon finals to Carlos Alcaraz.

Djokovic Reaches 100 Wins at Wimbledon: A Historic Milestone The Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, known for his multiple Grand Slam titles, has added another achievement to his impressive career.
