We look forward to continuing that trend which will lead to even more success on the field.<\/p><cite>Art Rooney II, Steelers President<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nKhan, 48, took over as general manager in 2022, succeeding Kevin Colbert. This is his 25th season with the franchise.\n\nUnder Khan&#8217;s direction, the Steelers have had a 29-22 record and have qualified for the postseason in the last two seasons, although they were eliminated in the wild card round on both occasions.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I would like to thank Art Rooney II for his support. I believe we are building a championship roster and I look forward to the 2025 season and beyond, as our goals continue to be to bring another Super Bowl to the city of Pittsburgh and to our great fans.<\/p><cite>Omar Khan, Steelers General Manager<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nSince taking control, Khan has been proactive in free agency and trades. This year, he finalized important transfers, such as that of wide receiver DK Metcalf and cornerback Jalen Ramsey, among others.
