Those close to him describe the event as an attempted homicide and point directly to four individuals as the alleged perpetrators of the assault.<\/p>\n\n<p>Manuel Reyes, brother of the victim, identified Germ\u00e1n Reyes Mart\u00ednez, Hern\u00e1n Reyes Mart\u00ednez, Francisco Pimentel, and a man identified only as Candelario, as the individuals linked to the violent episode. According to his testimony, the confrontation escalated when Ferreras Reyes was initially attacked with pepper spray, which forced him to attempt to defend himself with an object found nearby.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Controversy regarding audiovisual evidence<\/h3>\n\n<p>One of the critical points of the complaint is the handling of the video evidence submitted to the authorities. The family maintains that the material presented to the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office has been fragmented, omitting the actual beginning of the altercation. According to the complainant, the video begins when John Manuel attempts to defend himself, hiding the previous footage where the initial aggression with the chemical is observed.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">You have to watch the full video and determine who originally started the problem and who initiated the aggression.
