In an effort to raise the international profile of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), the rector of the academy, Dr. Jorge Asjana David, held a strategic meeting with the renowned Japanese physicist Kazuo Tanaka. This visit, which spans four days, has the main objective of consolidating bridges of cooperation in critical areas such as particle physics, cosmic ray detection, and the modernization of pedagogical methods in the exact sciences.<\/p>\n\n
Rector Asjana David highlighted that this exchange responds to the institutional commitment to strengthen scientific research through alliances with world-renowned experts and entities, thus raising the academic quality of the Primada de Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n
As part of his agenda, the Japanese scientist and a delegation of university authorities traveled to the Embassy of Japan in the Dominican Republic. There, they were received by Ambassador Osamu Hayakawa, with whom they discussed new avenues for academic collaboration between the UASD and various Japanese institutions.<\/p>\n\n

- Visit to the UASD-Azua Center to exchange innovative methodologies in physics teaching.<\/li>\n
- Promotion of the Accel Kitchen educational program, which facilitates the use of portable detectors for the study of space particles in classrooms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
