Inaugurated the “Versi\u00f3n San L\u00e1zaro” International Women’s Volleyball Cup<\/h2>\n\nSanto Domingo \u2013 With great enthusiasm and the participation of 25 national and international teams, the third edition of the “Versi\u00f3n San L\u00e1zaro” International Women’s Volleyball Cup began, an event that coincides with the first edition of the Redivoly tournament.\n\nThe sports fair, dedicated to the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, for her constant support of youth and sports as a tool for social change, promises four days of intense competition.\n\nMore than 100 athletes will gather at the facilities of the San L\u00e1zaro Club and the Ra\u00fal Castro Club to compete in exciting matches. Teams from Guatemala, El Salvador, and Venezuela will face outstanding Dominican representations such as Ciro P\u00e9rez, La Fe, La Caleta, San Juan Bautista, Perico, Victoria, Lava Pie, Dios Imparables, Fendis, Top Sport, Canastica, 5 de Abril, Arenoso, Estrella del Futuro, Criollas, Fuerza A\u00e9rea, Inespre, and the host San L\u00e1zaro, among others.\n\nThe competing categories include Minivoly, Infantil, Juvenil Femenino Libre and Juvenil Masculino Libre, providing a platform for the development of new talents and the strengthening of the sport from its roots.\n\n\n

Here, it’s not just about playing volleyball; it’s about building bonds, instilling values, and promoting solidarity among young athletes.<\/p>Dimitri Mendoza, president of Club San L\u00e1zaro<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nDuring the opening ceremony, Dimitri Mendoza, president of the San L\u00e1zaro Club, highlighted the human value of the event. F\u00e9lix Rodr\u00edguez, president of the International Volleyball Network, thanked the delegations for their enthusiasm and encouraged the players to give their best in each match.\n\nThe tournament, in addition to its competitive nature, seeks to promote values such as respect, discipline, and teamwork among children, adolescents, and young people from various regions.\n\nThe ceremony was attended by personalities such as Alexander Rodr\u00edguez and Fernando G\u00f3mez, vice president and sports secretary of the San L\u00e1zaro Club; Juli\u00e1n Suero, representing Minister Faride Raful; as well as executives from Seaboard, representatives of the National Institute of Physical Education and local authorities.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
