The British & Irish Lions Achieve a Convincing Victory Over the Queensland Reds<\/h2>\n\nBritish & Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell expressed his satisfaction with the way his team settled after conceding two early tries, before defeating the Queensland Reds 52-12 in Brisbane on Wednesday.\n\nJust like against the Western Force in Perth on Saturday, the tourists saw their line breached in the first quarter before dominating the match and increasing the score.\n\n“Impressive at times,” Farrell said. “We played some nice rugby after we settled. I think in the first 10 minutes, the Reds started pretty well and we had a few errors one after the other.”\n\nFarrell also commented on his team’s ability to stay calm and play good rugby despite the challenges.\n\nDifficulties are expected in bringing together players from four nations in a short period of time, and problems in restarts, handling errors and a couple of penalties in the scrum will not have pleased Farrell.\n\nScrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park returned from a glute injury that sidelined him from the defeat to Argentina and the victory over the Western Force, working well with Finn Russell in what is expected to be the half-back combination for the test matches.\n\n\n
