Under the slogan &#8220;Sowing values on the field,&#8221; the competition will take place at the sports facilities of Ciudad Juan Bosch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sporting event, which will begin next Friday, September 4th, and will span three consecutive weekends, will bring together eight prominent sports institutions from the capital:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>DJ. Ozuna Academy<\/li><li>Amaurys Nina Academy<\/li><li>Manny Ledesma Academy<\/li><li>Quezada League of Ciudad Juan Bosch<\/li><li>La Javilla Academy<\/li><li>IBP Academy<\/li><li>Los Vecinitos of Ciudad Juan Bosch<\/li><li>Pimentel Academy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sport as a pillar of training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>For the second consecutive year, the Macarrulla Cup becomes an opportunity for our children to compete, but above all to learn discipline, respect, and teamwork. This 2026, we continue to sow those values on the field, convinced that sports transform lives and strengthen our communities.<\/p>\n<cite>Lisandro Macarrulla<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisandro Macarrulla emphasized that the main objective of the tournament transcends the results on the diamond, focusing on providing young people with behavioral tools that will serve them for a lifetime, such as integrity, discipline, and teamwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inclusion and competition calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most significant new features of this edition is the integration of a youth female component. During the second weekend of activities, two female teams will play a series of three matches, reaffirming the foundation&#8217;s commitment to inclusion in sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2026 Macarrulla Cup schedule has been structured as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Regular season:<\/strong> From September 4 to 6.<\/li><li><strong>Super round and women&#8217;s tournament:<\/strong> From September 11 to 13.<\/li><li><strong>Final phase and awards ceremony:<\/strong> From September 18 to 20.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the event, the organization will award the outstanding teams with medals and trophies. Likewise, individual recognitions will be granted to the most valuable player, the champion manager, and the members of the &#8220;All-Star Team,&#8221; in addition to awards for the leaders in the batting, power, and pitching departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Social commitment of the Macarrulla Foundation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation in this tournament is completely free for all registered teams. With this initiative, the Macarrulla Foundation reaffirms its track record of constant support for education and sports, using these platforms to foster the integral development of Dominican children and youth.
