A second meeting between Brown and the Knicks&#8217; management is expected.\n\nBrown, 55, was recognized as the NBA Coach of the Year in his first season with the Sacramento Kings in the 2022-23 season.\n\nDuring his time in Sacramento, Brown achieved a record of 107-88 in two seasons, with positive records in his two full seasons before being fired in December, midway through his third season.\n\nPreviously, Brown had two stints as coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers and one season with the Los Angeles Lakers. His professional career includes a 455-304 record and seven playoff appearances in nine full seasons. In addition, he has been recognized as Coach of the Year twice, also in Cleveland in 2008-09.\n\nIn 2020, Brown had already interviewed for the Knicks&#8217; coaching position, leaving a good impression before the team hired Tom Thibodeau.
