We analyze the situation of some teams.

Premier League

Liverpool

Arrivals: Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen, £100m); Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth, £40m); Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen, £29.5m); Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia, £29m); Ármin Pécsi (Puskas Akademia, unconfirmed)
Departures: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Real Madrid, £10m); Caoimhín Kelleher (Brentford, £18m); Nat Phillips (West Brom, £3m); Vitezslav Jaros (Ajax, loan)

Liverpool, the current Premier League champion, has had an impressive start in the market, signing Frimpong, Wirtz, and Kerkez. They have invested over £170 million, after spending a modest amount in the previous two transfer windows.

The priority now is to reinforce the central defense. The arrival of Jarell Quansah from Leverkusen is expected. With Ibrahima Konaté’s contract nearing its end and Joe Gomez’s injury problems, Liverpool is looking for reinforcements, including Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace.

Arne Slot’s team is also looking for a center forward, but they will wait for the right options to arise.

Análisis sobre si Nørgaard es el reemplazo ideal para Partey en el Arsenal.

Arsenal

Arrivals: None
Departures: Nuno Tavares (Lazio, not confirmed); Marquinhos (Cruzeiro, not confirmed); Jorginho (Flamengo, free); Kieran Tierney (Celtic, free)

An imminent transfer activity is expected for Arsenal, with the possible arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martín Zubimendi and Christian Nørgaard to address specific needs in the squad. Negotiations continue for Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia. However, the two most obvious needs have not yet been resolved: the incorporation of a striker and a winger.

Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig was the primary target for months, although Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP is also under consideration. The valuations of both players are high. Arsenal has also shown interest in Nico Williams from Athletic Club, but his preference for Barcelona has led the ‘Gunners’ to intensify their interest in Rodrygo from Real Madrid, although the player will have to force his departure.

Manchester City

Arrivals: Tijjani Reijnders (AC Milan, £46.3m); Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves, £36.3m); Rayan Cherki (Lyon, £34m); Marcus Bettinelli (Chelsea, not confirmed)
Departures: Jacob Wright (Norwich, not confirmed); Kevin De Bruyne (Napoli, free); Scott Carson (released)

Manchester City has already made most of its moves, but does not rule out more signings before the market closes. The priority is to facilitate the departures of Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips. James McAtee could also leave depending on the offers.

The area to be reinforced is the right flank. Walker is not in Pep Guardiola’s plans, leaving Rico Lewis as the only option, with Matheus Nunes, Manuel Akanji and Abdukodir Khusanov as possible alternatives. There is interest in Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus and Tino Livramento from Newcastle. In addition, there is uncertainty about Ederson’s future.

Newcastle United

Arrivals: Antonio Cordero (Málaga, free)
Departures: Lloyd Kelly (Juventus, £15m); Jamal Lewis (released)

Newcastle’s priority is to secure the contract renewal of Alexander Isak to prevent his departure. Liverpool and Arsenal have shown interest in the Swedish striker. The signings have been slow.

Progress is being made on the signing of James Trafford from Burnley, but there is still no agreement. An offer of £45 million for Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest was rejected. Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth is another possible target.

Análisis sobre la posible llegada de Jamie Gittens al Chelsea.

Chelsea

Arrivals: Liam Delap (Ipswich, £30m); Estêvão (Palmeiras, £29.1m); Dário Essugo (Sporting, £17m); Mamadou Sarr (Strasbourg, unconfirmed)
Departures: Bashir Humphreys (Burnley, unconfirmed); Marcus Bettinelli (Manchester City, unconfirmed)

Chelsea have closed a £60 million deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jamie Gittens. In addition, they will look for more wingers. Despite the arrival of Liam Delap, they have also agreed a signing for £55 million plus add-ons to sign João Pedro from Brighton.

Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa has been considered as an option for the midfield. Although a deal was not finalized, the interest in Mike Maignan from AC Milan suggests that they could sign another goalkeeper.

Manchester United

Ins: Matheus Cunha (Wolves, £62.5m)
Outs: Christian Eriksen (released); Jonny Evans (released); Victor Lindelöf (released)

Manchester United are close to closing a £65 million deal for Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, their priority. Matheus Cunha has already arrived, but they are still looking for another offensive player, including Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt. They have also been offered Christopher Nkunku, who wants to leave Chelsea.

The United’s ability to strengthen will depend on player departures. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Casemiro are available, but their contracts and salaries complicate their exits. If they can increase their budget with sales, they could sign a midfielder like Ederson from Atalanta or Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace.

Tottenham Hotspur

Arrivals: Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich, £29.8m); Kevin Danso (Lens, £21m); Luka Vuskovic (Hajduk Split, not confirmed)
Departures: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (Marseille, £17m); Fraser Forster (released); Sergio Reguilón (released); Alfie Whiteman (released)

The Spurs, after the arrival of Thomas Frank as coach, must focus on the market. A central midfielder is a priority, and the interest in Mbeumo suggests they are looking for a winger. Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace is a target, but Jonathan David is not, despite being available.

The club also faces the challenge of retaining Cristian Romero, with Atletico Madrid interested. There could be an important decision if interest resurfaces for Son Heung-Min from Saudi Arabia, who turns 33 in July and has one more year on his contract.

Gab Marcotti analiza si Nico Williams debería ser la prioridad del Barcelona.

Europe

Barcelona

Arrivals: Joan García (Espanyol, €25m)
Departures: Álex Valle (Como, €6m); Clément Lenglet (Atlético de Madrid, free)

Barcelona, after signing Joan García and possibly Nico Williams, is limited by LaLiga’s salary cap. Following the departure of Clément Lenglet and Ansu Fati, several more players are expected to leave the club, although they will not generate significant revenue.

Depending on the departures, more signings could arrive. The arrival of Marcus Rashford is still a possibility, as is that of the young Roony Bardghji. Reinforcing the full-backs is also being considered.

Real Madrid

Signings: Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth, €62.5m); Franco Mastantuono (River Plate, €45m); Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool, €12m)
Departures: Luka Modric (released); Lucas Vázquez (released); Jesús Vallejo (released)

Real Madrid has been active in the market, signing Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold.
