Meanwhile, defensive spectacularity had a name of its own with Tyler Tolbert, of the Kansas City Royals, who took home the Play of the Week award.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The power of the &#8220;Polar Bear&#8221; in Baltimore<\/h3>\n\n<p>Pete Alonso has left an indelible mark during his time with the Orioles, achieving his sixth weekly recognition of his career and his first since arriving at the Baltimore organization. The first baseman displayed remarkable offensive dominance, recording a .545 average after collecting 12 hits in 22 at-bats.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">With this achievement, Alonso solidifies himself as the only player to win the Player of the Week award in each of the last five seasons, demonstrating enviable consistency at the highest level of baseball.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>His performance included a double, two home runs, and five RBIs, extending his hitting streak to six consecutive games. He is the first Orioles representative to receive this honor since Gunnar Henderson achieved it in September of last year.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Corbin Carroll dominates the National League<\/h3>\n\n<p>At the old circuit, Corbin Carroll ratified his star status with the Diamondbacks.
