In a formal ceremony led by the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Pe\u00f1a, Jean Luis Rodr\u00edguez was officially sworn in as the new head of the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED). This appointment was formalized following the issuance of Decree no. 554-26 by President Luis Abinader.<\/p>\n\n
During the ceremony, Vice President Pe\u00f1a highlighted the strategic importance that the MIVHED holds for the execution of housing policies and the promotion of public infrastructure throughout the national territory, wishing him success in his new administration.<\/p>\n\n
Upon assuming his new duties, Rodr\u00edguez expressed his gratitude to the president for the trust placed in him. The new minister stressed that his arrival at the institution has as its main objective to provide continuity to the achievements obtained and to contribute his technical vision to optimize the ministry’s constructive and social processes.<\/p>\n\n

Jean Luis Rodr\u00edguez arrives at MIVHED with a solid track record in the public sector. Between 2020 and 2026, he successfully led the Dominican Port Authority (APORDOM), a period during which he focused on the modernization and development of the country’s port infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n
