Pichardo, who until now served as Executive Director of the Airport Department (DA), assumes this strategic position within the framework of the administrative changes carried out by the Executive Branch this August 16th.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since his arrival at the helm of the Airport Department in August 2020, Pichardo focused on boosting national aeronautical infrastructure and optimizing the country&#8217;s air connectivity levels. His management has been recognized for its focus on logistical development and the modernization of Dominican airport terminals.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importance of consular management<\/h3>\n\n<p>Pichardo&#8217;s new responsibility at the Consulate General in San Juan is of significant importance, given that Puerto Rico represents one of the key hubs for the Dominican diaspora.
