With the purpose of optimizing the support and guidance tools for its residents, the La Romana branch of Hogar Crea Dominicano held a workshop titled \u201cPsychological factors associated with therapeutic abandonment and relapse in the early stages of recovery.\u201d This initiative seeks to deepen the understanding of the mental challenges that patients face during their healing process.<\/p>\n\n
The educational session was led by clinical psychologists Juana Patricia D\u00edaz and Milagros Furet, experts who shared their technical knowledge and practical experiences with the attendees. The meeting focused on providing effective strategies to prevent treatment dropout and reduce relapse rates, which are critical elements for achieving a successful recovery.<\/p>\n\n
A total of 67 young people currently undergoing treatment were impacted by this activity. The participants took advantage of the space to strengthen their personal growth, receive specialized guidance, and acquire new learning that will facilitate their path toward social reintegration.<\/p>\n\n\n
