The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) has issued its updated report for this Saturday, highlighting a weather outlook marked by high temperatures and the occurrence of isolated showers in various areas of the national territory. From the early hours of the day, residents in La Altagracia, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, La Vega, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, as well as in Santo Domingo and the National District, could experience these meteorological conditions.<\/p>\n\n
The presence of a tropical wave over the Lesser Antilles will be the determining factor for the change in weather conditions. This phenomenon will increase humidity and atmospheric instability, leading to downpours that could become heavy in specific areas, accompanied by thunderstorms and wind gusts. The provinces under advisory due to these changes include, in addition to those mentioned, La Romana, Saman\u00e1, Duarte, Monte Plata, San Crist\u00f3bal, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, Peravia, Azua, and Barahona.<\/p>\n\n
Indomet maintains constant surveillance over an area of showers and thunderstorms located in the central Atlantic, more than 1,500 kilometers west of the Cape Verde Islands. Currently, this system has a low probability of developing into a tropical cyclone.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n

The environment will remain hot for much of the day, with temperatures ranging between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius for highs, while lows will be between 24 and 26 degrees. For Greater Santo Domingo, the following behavior is expected:<\/p>\n\n\n

- North Santo Domingo:<\/strong> Predominance of scattered clouds.<\/li>
- West Santo Domingo:<\/strong> Hot environment with isolated clouds.<\/li>
- East Santo Domingo:<\/strong> Hot conditions and isolated clouds.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n
In Greater Santo Domingo, maximum temperatures will reach values between 33 \u00b0C and 35 \u00b0C, with minimums ranging between 23 \u00b0C and 25 \u00b0C.
